Jesus Is

Jesus is my Lord and Life;
Jesus makes my dark as light.

Jesus is my Savior now;
He’s the one to whom I bow.

Jesus blots out all my sin;
He’s the one my faith is in.

Jesus loves my dreary soul;
Jesus makes me feel so whole.

Jesus, you’re my all in all;
even when I feel so small.

So…

Jesus, this rhyme is for you;
for all my praise, is your due.

May you lift your praise and worship to God our Father each and every day, through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Forever

Once again, I have felt inspired to write another faith-filled poetic piece. I’m not sure why, all of a sudden, I have posted something like this two days in a row but here you go.

I praise You in the sunshine,
I praise You in the rain;
for You are God over all,
and ever will You reign.

I love You in the morning,
I love You in the eve;
for You are always with me,
and ever will You be.

I thank You with my whole heart,
I thank You all my life;
for You are holy awesome,
and ever be my Light.

Jesus is my Lord and Life,
for his life did he give.
You are always faithful, God,
and ever will I Live.

May God bless you, always and forever 🙂

Flowing Praise

Hey, all you creatures here below,
all whom our Father we should know.
Praise God here, always and now.
Praise God with a holy bow.

Praise God from whom all blessings flow.
Praise God from whom all creation goes.

Praise God from whom true grace is shown.
Praise God from whom true love known.

Praise God from whom eternal life is given.
Praise God from whom Satan is ever driven.

Praise God above, ye heavenly host;
praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.

A little praise to start your day 🙂

Ending your day

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heavens!
Praise him for his mighty deeds;
praise him according to his excellent greatness!
Praise him with trumpet sound;
praise him with lute and harp!
Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe!
Praise him with sounding cymbals;
praise him with loud clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord!
[Psalm 150]

Why this Psalm?
Why not?
Why not end the day praising the Lord?

God is indeed worthy.
God is gracious and merciful.
God is compassionate.
God is love.

God is holy and yet forgives sins.
We are faithless but God is faithful.
We are unworthy but God shows grace.

And then there is this whole thing about talking to God and God listening. Me, a puny sinner. God gives me His full attention. That’s pretty amazing, so why not tell him that, after all, God is listening.

And this awesomeness comes through faith in Jesus, God’s son, who suffered a horrible death on a cross FOR YOU and FOR ME so we could be forgiven. That’s pretty amazing as well. Why not praise God for that?

And if that awesomeness was not enough then consider this: That forgiveness I just mentioned, means we get to live with God forever in heaven someday. Yup, I like that.

So there you have it. There is so much to praise God for. So let’s hear it; loud and clear. Let’s hear your voice. Go ahead, shout it out. Don’t be bashful. God is worth it.

PRAISE THE LORD!

Sweet dreams 🙂
